Former Israeli president Shimon Peres was rushed to a hospital outside Tel Aviv Tuesday after suffering a stroke. The 93-year-old was fully conscious and in a stable condition, a spokesperson told Ynet. Peres had already begun receiving treatment for the stroke, they added. In January, he underwent successful minor surgery at the same hospital after suffering a small heart attack.
