Tawfeeq as-Saa'iq Al-Ankabut

Surah al-Ankabut is 29th chapter of the Qur'an and it was revealed in Makkah.
Some beneficial points regarding this surah as taken from the explanation of ibn Kathir (May Allah be pleased with him).
1. The Believers are tested so that it may be known who is sincere and who is lying. (verse 2)
2. Allah will fulfill the Hopes of the Righteous (verse 5)
3. The command to be good and dutiful to your parents. (verse 8)
4. The attitude of the Hypocrites and the ways in which Allah tests people. (verse 10)
5. The arrogant claim of the disbelievers that they would carry the sins of others if they would return to disbelief. (verse 12)
6. Nuh and his people (verse 15)
7. Ibrahim preaching to his people (verse 16-18)
8. Evidence for life after death (verse 19-23)
9. The response of Ibrahim's people and how Allah controlled the fire. (verse 24 &25)
10. The faith of Lut and His Emigration with Ibrahim. (verse 26)
11. Allah gave Ibrahim, Ishaq (Isaac), and Ya'qub (Jacob)(verse 27)
