Heavy Police Presence in Copenhagen After Shooting

Two police officers and one civilian were shot after police exchanged fires with a man during a raid in Christiania, Copenhagen, late on August 31. One police officer was shot in the head and the other was injured in the leg during the shooting, according to Copenhagen Police. The police later shot and arrested the gunman, who was in critical condition.Christiania is a self-proclaimed autonomous neighbourhood in the borough of Christianshavn in Copenhagen.
