Stephen Stills of Crosby, Stills and Nash, and his wife discuss his son Henry’s autism while they are on the road in Autism: The Musical.
In 1980, autism was a relatively rare disorder, diagnosed in one out of 10,000 children in the United States. Today, the number is one out of 150. Autism: The Musical shows how one woman is defying expectations about what autistic people can and can’t do, through the example of a theater troupe comprised of autistic children who write, rehearse and perform in a full-length musical.
Don’t miss the premiere of Autism: The Musical on HBO Tuesday, March 25 at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
