Commissioned by Mehmed Paša Sokolović and built between the years of 1571 and 1577, this Ottoman masterpiece has 11 arches and spans 179.5 meters in length. Declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2008, if you love classic architecture and are looking for an excellent day trip from Sarajevo, this bridge is an absolute must see.
