Former Fox News host Andrea Tantaros sues for sexual harassment
  • 8 years ago
In papers filed in Manhattan Supreme Court, former Fox News host Andrea Tantaros says Ailes, now an advisor to GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump, repeatedly made inappropriate sexually charged comments to her and about her co-workers, and then damaged her after she complained about his behavior.
"Fox News masquerades as defender of traditional family values, but behind the scenes, it operates like a sex-fueled, Playboy Mansion-like cult, steeped in intimidation, indecency, and misogyny," Tantaros charged in the $30 million lawsuit.
And Ailes "did not act alone," says the suit, which was first reported by the New York Times.
The suit seeks millions of dollars in lost income and mental anguish, plus punitive damages.
