Oh Boy! was the first teenage all-music show on British TV airing in 1958-1959. It was produced by Jack Good for ITV.

The show was transmitted on Saturday evenings and was in direct competition to the BBC's 6.5 Special. Each week it featured resident artists plus a selection of special guests. The residents included Cliff Richard and the The Vernons Girls.

The last of the original show went on air on 30th May 1959.

The name was later re-worked in 1979 for the "new" generation of Rock n Roll influenced stars of the day, this time round the show included, Shakin' Stevens, Alvin Stardust, and Joe Brown. Joe Brown was the only one of the artists who was performing across the UK in the 50s to appear on the 70s Oh Boy! show. Alvin Stardust first emerged on the 1950s scene as Shane Fenton and the Fentones and re-invented himself as Alvin in the 70s.
