Malian fighter admits guilt in destruction of Timbuktu sites

Ahmad al-Faqi al-Mahdi, a former Malian rebel fighter has pleaded guilty to war crimes charges at the International Criminal court in the Hague.
He's accused of deliberate destroying Islamic religious and cultural sites in Timbuktu in 2012.
