A short video documenting a demonstration of asylum seekers in Luxembourg after some of them have been expulsed. One of the expulsed asylum seekers is only 21 years old and had been in Luxembourg for 4 years.

The criteria for asylum are very vague and often depend on political interests of the hosting country. In this case the government Luxembourg decided that Nigeria is a safe and democratic country, it's enough to read some reports of human rights organizations or talk with people coming from them to know how far it is from reality. At least two of these three people who were expulsed must hide in their country, doesn't look like they are safe there. The normal practice of the state officials in Nigeria is also to blackmail people returned by force from other countries. Of course the government of Luxembourg doesn't care about that and is not going to check if the people they expulse are safe or not. And even if people are coming to the North for work, they wouldn't have to do that if the years of colonization hadn't destroyed their economies. Seems to be so obvious...
