Rohit Shetty Claims 'Golmaal 4' Is An Original Story And Not A South Remake

A day ago, there were reports that Rohit Shetty and Ajay Devgn will team up once again for Golmaal 4 and that the film will be a remake of South hit Soodhu Kavvum, a crime comedy.
However, Shetty recently rubbished the reports and said that though he has the remake rights of the South film, he will make it later and that Golmaal 4 will be an original story. Golmaal 4 will have actors Tusshar Kapoor, Arshad Warsi and Kunal Kemmu besides Devgn. For those who do not know this, Soodhu Kavvum had Vijay Dethupathi and Sanchita Shetty in the lead and it was directed by Nalan Kumarasamy. The film revolved around four friends and an imaginary character, who is only visible to the lead actor.
Rohit Shetty's last film was Dilwale, which had starred Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol, Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon.
