ROSWELL, GEORGIA — Police have charged 20-year-old Jeffrey Hazelwood with two counts of murder for the deaths of two teens behind a Publix in Roswell, Georgia.

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports that the bodies of Natalie Henderson and Carter Davis were found by a delivery man around 6 a.m. on Monday. Autopsies would later reveal that the 17-year-olds had both been shot in the head.

Authorities say evidence from the victims’ phones, the crime scene, and surveillance footage, led them to Hazelwood. They believe he shot the teens execution-style, and that he acted alone.

Investigators had also executed a search warrant on the home of someone in a relationship with Hazelwood, and reportedly exited the home with bags of evidence.

WXIA reports that Hazelwood was apprehended early Wednesday at a gas station near the crime scene. He is currently being held at the Roswell Detention Center, but will soon be transferred to Fulton County Jail. Police have yet to reveal the motive for the killing, or what the suspect’s relationship was with both victims.
