Komodo dragons are among the most fear-inducing reptiles on Earth, but apparently they’re no match for one very special and adorable kitten.
On Saturday, the little one was found inside the Fort Worth Zoo’s Komodo dragon exhibit, reports Star‑Telegram.
She was swiftly removed and examined at the facility’s animal hospital.
Miraculously, she emerged from the potentially disastrous close encounter entirely unscathed, according to WTVD.
The kitten was taken to the Humane Society of North Texas, where staffers named her Komodo.
Her arrival at the shelter was announced via Facebook with a photo and a post reading, in part, “This feisty little girl was luckily, unharmed, she is quite a survivor!”
The zoo officials are still unclear on how the feline made it to the Komodo dragon's enclosure.
