DDb’s global CCO - Amir Kassei is one of the most lauded creatives in the world, who’s working on an impressive range of the global brands including Allianz, Apple, Adidas, Bosch, Coca-Cola, McDonald’s, Nike, Reebok and Volkswagen to name a few. As recent as 2012, Amir publically accused WPP's CEO Martin Sorrell of tampering with the voting process at the Cannes Lions! And in 2016 Kassei went on record to state that DDB would stop focusing on award shows like The Cannes Lions and many others as most of them seem to be a sham! Sonali Krishna caught up with the man himself to understand his grouse, how he views this industry and just how serious he is about boycotting awards. Listen in.
