Part 4 - 10th Anniversary SR 24h de la Sarthe

We are very pleased to announce the tenth "SR 24 Hours de la Sarthe". In recent weeks, we received many more e-mails than never before. Simracers from around the world asked us to organise the 10th anniversary edition. Especially our friends in Spain, Italy, Poland and UK insisted.
On June 23rd, 2007 we launched the first virtual 24h race in the world. Since then, every year between 60 and 110 teams from up to 21 different nations took part in this event. Every year we also got better in technology, organisation and live streaming. Undoubtedly the rejoin plugin for "rFactor 1" by Marcel Offermans was the highlight par excellence. For the first time all teams had the technical ability to finish their race by reaching the checkered flag. But also other pioneering developments were first used in our events: SimSync Pro, rF-Scan, restore session and many more tools, developed by Achim Ennenbach, helped us to make the greatest challenge in simracing better and better. Since 2015 we have changed from rFactor 1 to rFactor 2. The technology is much more stable and the organisational options are diverse.
In the 10th anniversary we will allow 44 teams (22 LMP1, 22 GTE) again with rFactor 2. With more than 44 team registrations, we will of course organise our famous qualifying races. With fewer registrations nevertheless we go with the test races a small championship. SimraceTV will be used as far as possible to stream all races live.
