Without the use of any breathing equipment, Bertrand Poupounot (France) was able to clock up a distance of 261 m ( 856.2 ft) on a submerged Kettler 'Racer' exercise bike in a single breath at the recording of the L'Émission des Records, Paris, France broadcast on the 29 March 2000.
