Little girl stops wild elephant in its tracks

Amazing footage has emerged from Sri Lanka appearing to show a little girl stopping a wild elephant in its tracks and forcing it to retreat.
The video, filmed earlier this month, shows the girl standing her ground with her arm outstretched as the elephant marches towards her on a road.
Astonishingly, despite the elephant's massive size, it seems intimidated by the confident little girl and, in the end, turns around and runs away into the bushes.
