Aamir Khan, who will be next seen in ‘Dangal’, which is based on the life of wrestler Mahavir Phogat, started shooting for the film in Ludhiana a few days back and Phogat himself dropped in on the sets of the film to meet the Perfectionist and also to give the first clap for the shooting.
In an image that broke out on the Internet, Mahavir Singh Phogat is seen standing with Aamir Khan, Kiran Rao, Siddharth Roy Kapur, Sakshi Tanwar (who plays Aamir’s wife), Phogat’s daughters Babita and Geeta and Aamir’s reel daughters Fatima Shaikh and Sanya Malhotra alongwith director Nitesh Tiwari and others.
Phogat was accompanied by his two daughters Babita and Geeta and the Phogat family interacted with Aamir and also spent time with him on the sets. We had also reported that Phogat will be on the sets throughout the duration of the shooting to help Khan with his role.
Directed by Nitesh Tiwari and produced by Khan, Kiran Rao and Siddharth Roy Kapur, Dangal is slated to release during the Christmas weekend next year.
