Sammy Cahn (1913 – 1993) was a four times Academy Award-winning American lyricist, songwriter and musician who was best known for his romantic lyrics to Tin Pan Alley and Broadway songs as recorded by Frank Sinatra, Doris Day and many others. He also played the piano and violin.
This video was made on a D-type Wurlitzer, believed to be the first one to be imported into the UK in 1925.
