Two lionesses and seven cubs spotted drinking from pond in India

Rare footage of two lionesses with seven cubs drinking water from a small man-made pond in the Gir Forest in Gujarat, western India.

The video, filmed yesterday by a wildlife enthusiast, shows the adorable scenes as the family of Asiatic Lions deals with the country's water crisis in its own way.

Forest officials have reportedly built a series of ponds so wildlife can quench their thirst, but it's quite rare to see such a large family of big cats at one of the water holes together.
