According to WABC, early Friday morning, Officer Douglas Faber was attempting to remove a large branch that was blocking part of a roadway.
Unfortunately, shortly after he began the task, a large tree gave way.
Dashcam footage of the incident shows Officer Faber running towards safety, but not quite clearing the danger zone.
