Little Berlin, Cold War Museum of a Divided Village, Germany

The wall and guard towers that divided this village down the middle between East and West Germany teach a history lesson.

This is clip from “Septemberfest”, a free Intrepid Berkeley Explorer video of Germany’s best known places: Frankfurt’s old town, a Rhine River cruise, Cologne’s Cathedral, the Hamburg red-light district, Berlin (Pergamon Museum, the Wall, and other changes since 1990), lovely Dresden, Nuremberg, the Dachau Concentration Camp Memorial, Munich (glockenspiel, beer hall, and palaces), plus King Ludwig II’s most famous castle.
