Violent riots between students and police in Chile

Shocking footage has emerged from Providencia, Chile, of police clashing with student protesters during a demonstration against the education policies of the current Government.
The video, filmed this week, shows heavily armoured police officers dispersing the crowd with a massive water cannon, before the filmer takes cover in a Starbucks cafe.
The filmer wrote online: ''I had to go into a Starbucks to escape the gas.
''Students demanding a say and faster improvements to the education system have begun to take to the streets almost weekly."
"The Carabineros counter these unsanctioned occurrences with tear gas and water canons," he continued.
