Rear tyres fail on RAF jet fighter as it takes off

Footage of an RAF Typhoon jet aircraft aborting its take-off reportedly because both rear tyres punctured on the runway.

The video, filmed on at RAF Coningsby on Monday, shows an aircraft taking off before the second has to bail because of the tyre failure.

The filmer later wrote online: "In this raw footage the first aircraft takes off then I pan the camera to the second to capture both rear tyres puncturing."
