Paul Ryan not 'betting' on Trump winning the presidency

House Speaker Paul Ryan and Donald Trump have had their differences, but a recent sit-down with the real estate mogul had him feeling optimistic about their chances of unifying the Republican party.
However, Ryan isn't 100 percent onboard with Trump ahead of the Republican National Convention this July, telling Glenn Thrush on the "Off Message" podcast "of course I do (think Trump will win the presidency)."
But when responding to Thrush's next question as to whether he would bet on a Trump victory in November, Ryan said "I’m not going to — I’m not a betting man."
In fairness, Ryan would later tell Thrush that if the party can come together and offer the country a "clear and compelling agenda" than he thinks Trump stands a good chance of defeating the Democratic presumptive nominee, Hillary Clinton.
