LEGO Jurassic World: Enjoy LEGO, dinosaurs and action

This week we have an app that travels to my childhood, reaches in to my mind, and pulls out the game I dreamed of when I was 12. Introducing… LEGO Jurassic World. LEGO Jurassic World is another game in TT Games’ fantastic LEGO series. These accessible games have come to epitomize fun family gaming. They prove entertaining for both children and adults alike, thanks to their mix of forgiving action, fun puzzles, and vibrant use of the franchises they are built on. And what better series to be reimagined in bricks than Jurassic Park? Filled with dinosaurs, DNA splicing, action, and - did we mention dinosaurs - LEGO Jurassic World takes you through all three stories of the original trilogy, as well as the new Jurassic World. You can relive all of your favorite scenes from the movies, reimagined in LEGO and filled with TT Games’ signature comedic style. You can go dung diving at Dr. Ellie Slatter to heal a sick Triceratops, or get eaten by a T-Rex while on the toilet as the slimy lawyer Donald Gennaro – and that is all just from the first movie. Each of the four films is divided into five sections, to create a total of twenty levels to explore. Journeying your way through each of these demands you make use of various cast and their abilities. Drawing on the movies, LEGO Jurassic World has more than 100 different characters to unlock and play as. Every one of these have their own mix of skills that they can use to solve puzzles in the world. This means that at times you may need to control Ian Malcom who can use his chaotic math skills to solve equation puzzles, while at others you could need John Hammond who can use all of the parks access panels to enter locked areas. If you are like me, however, and you find more joy in massive lizards than heroic humans, then this game also has you covered. LEGO Jurassic World lets you gather pieces of DNA to build your very own dino collection. You can then take parts of you massive menagerie, pull them apart, and rebuild them to make your own unique monsters to use in the game. Add some multiplayer, and you have a game that is fun for all ages.
