Facebook Moments launches in Europe, Canada - without facial recognition
  • 8 years ago
Facebook's photo-sharing app Moments is finally launching in Europe, TechCrunch reports — but it's missing one very important feature.
The new version released Tuesday in Europe and Canada was modified to remove that feature to appease privacy concerns in these markets, according to TechCrunch.
Moments, first launched in the US in June 2015, helps users organise the photos they take on their phone, without having to upload them to Facebook.
