The play Flour in the veins speaks about a Bosnian family that gathers twenty years after the war, trying to understand what had happened to it, striving to overcome the consequences, iron out the disagreements, finally draw the line under the past and move into a new and brighter future. Writer-directorial duo Igor Štiks and Boris Liješević delighted us with yet another poetic and exciting performance. Stylized and accurate directorial manuscript is focused on the development of acting through the relationships among the characters. There is nothing excessive, nothing violent, nor can there be in this play, because its goal is not to condemn anyone but to try and take us out of continuous mutual condemnation. Do we have enough strength, wisdom and courage to cross the borders that history has imposed on us?
