Using a base mesh provided by nytrex - Grant Warwick, part of the shadows MOD team.
I sculpted this head likeness from photorefs on the second monitor and paper.
The aim was to create a digital replacement for the actor, the textures in the next stage will be projected onto the model, and a final detail pass will be made to include all the fine detail, in case of any close ups.
The software was zbrush 3, and the brushes were mainly clay and standard. At one point I exported the base mesh back to max to fix issues with the proportions of the neck, that were slightly harder to judge in the zbrush perspective.
