Jack the Wombat Gets Fed From a Bottle
Baby wombat Jack was orphaned and badly injured in a car accident but is recovering well and being cared for by ACT Wildlife in Canberra. In this video, Jack is being bottle-fed. He will continue to be fed in this way until he is 13kg, in eight to 10 months’ time. In the wild, wombats will stay in the pouch until 10 months of age and often grow to be 30kg or more as adults.
