New Year 2009/2010,Denmark.I just saw 4 of those orange light.15 min over midnight there was two,just behind each other,4-5 min later another,and about 10 min later the fourth.All of themflyig from east to west in a hight of 30-40 degree.

People people, i live in claremont, San Diego and saw this very spectical. Sorry but these were simply lights attached to balloons. A simple pair of binoculars made that evident. They are moving in the direction of the air, from east to west. This is the direction of our air movement when we are having a "Santa Anna" . Meaning, when the desert winds blow out towards the ocean. I am a believer in life beyond earth but this was not an example of being visited.

It is fantastic that I have seen this video clip dated 1st of January 2008 abut the ufos. I have seen exactly the same 7 and 9 bright light just like hanging on a string. It was on the 29th of August 2008 night time. I have only managed to take some pictures of them as until I have taken the video camera out they were gone. Amazing! It was above Kingston upon thames, Surrey, England.

And a final comment for everybody, Do some research and think about the theory that some or all of the species of aliens actually come from this planet but may live somewhere else now. Why else would they have an interest in Earth? Is it possible that they are us from the future after we have evolved and discovered time travel, or they are the product of how we would evolve to the constantly changing environment time travel would bring upon us? Just some thoughts to get out there and get people thinking about serious things. Enjoy philosophising on it with friends.

To fairtradeguy, are you an idiot? Sunlight at a few minutes past midnight and it is obviously night time in the video. Try thinking next time instead of coming up with stupid excuses not to think. And to havartart, are you also an idiot? You say as flares fade which these objects didn't do and you say they look like they are going off into the horizon, the witness said they didn't go toward the horizon. So your silly solution is more bogus than any UFO video. And finally to Eagleheart1980, if you want to believe read Operation Trojan Horse by John Keel, and see a movie by David Sereda I believe called UFO's: Nasa Footage or something like that. Those two things will be all the proof you'll ever need to not just believe but know that they are real.

cool video, most balloons usually pop before they hit that altitude though don't they?? I don't know, just remembering letting them go as a kid and watching them pop when they got up to say around 500 feet or so.

I have seen these before over Colorado Springs and in Ohio. These are obviously flares from military practice exercises. As the flare falls and fades it looks like they are going off into the horizon. Just like the Phoenix UFO's, just flares.

Well, let's just answer the statement about the Navy and their flares. Just to eliminate that one from the equation as being so dang confident that that is what this is. Unless the Navy is out there breaking the laws set in place they are NOT allowed to drop flares OVER large cities. If you just think about it you will understand the logic behind this.

They have hundreds of thousands of square miles to do exercises in. They WON'T be doing them over San Diego on New Year's Eve.

Aliens? Can't say because once again we don't have a clear shot of what they are and once again no one landed and made contact.

The hot air balloons is more interesting to me because it would make a little more sense. Out and about on New Year's to catch the big city with their fireworks makes more sense right now than anything else.

However, I would not discount extraterrestrial objects. :)
