Shocking footage has emerged from China of a one-year-old boy falling from a fourth floor balcony and being caught by people holding bed sheets.

The end of the video, filmed in Dongguan, Guangdong Province on Tuesday, shows the boy climbing over the fence on the balcony and falling down. A group of people holding quilts manage to catch him.

According to local reports, before police could break into the house, the boy had already fallen.

Fortunately, the boy's fall was broken by the quilts and he had no injuries.
