This is the opening to the twelfth Treehouse of Horror which took place during the first episode of season 13 and it premiered on November 6, 2001. This was also the first Treehouse of Horror to not use any of the Halloween names (EX: Bat Groening and James Hell Brooks) and this was also the last Treehouse of Horror to be called: The Simpsons Halloween Special.
