Adele wins British Female Solo Artist at The BRITs 2016!

It’s a big night for Adele at the 2016 BRIT Awards, and not only has she snagged a few shiny BRITs, but her empowering acceptance speech is about to have the people talking.
Welcome back to Clevver’s Award Show coverage, where Adele is winning awards and winning the hearts of the entire planet, after dedicating her acceptance speech to Kesha. Seriously this girl is an angel.
One award, two award, three award, FOUR awards for Adele, who has swept the 2016 BRIT Awards tonight after being nominated in four categories, but taking home three out the four including British Female Solo Artist, British Single for “Hello”, British album of the year and a special Global Superstar Award.
Adele has of course managed to keep things interesting during her acceptance speeches with tears and F-bombs galore, like you may have noticed in her speech for the Global Superstar Award where was being honored for taking the world by storm the past year. Check it out:
She also goes on to express her gratitude for everyone who showed support after taking a long break from music, saying QUOTE, “I got really lost for a while, and didn’t know if I’d ever come back and for you all to be so kind to me….” Ok, so the tears kiiiinda got in the way of the last part of that, but you get the gist.
BUT the one acceptance speech that will continue to have fans talking was her speech after her first win of the evening for British Female Solo Artist, when Adele began to thank her manager for being encouraged by her womanhood and finally gave a public shout out to Kesha, showing a massive amount of support. Adele is just one of many celebs who are standing beside Kesha in her tragic time of need, and her speech also comes shortly after Kesha took to social media to release a long statement expressing her gratitude toward everyone, saying QUOTE, “Other entertainers who knowingly put their own careers at stake by supporting me, I will be forever grateful.”
What a way to show some love and celebrate women empowerment, so here’s to Adele for her much deserved awards during tonight’s BRIT Awards.
