Art curator bites fellow passenger during spat over how she was sleeping on a plane

NEW YORK — A well-known art curator known as the 'Lady Gaga of the Art World' is facing a court case after she allegedly bit a fellow passenger during a transatlantic flight.

Stacy Engman, 38, was traveling on a Turkish Airlines flight from Istanbul to New York last July when Christine Taylor, 33, the passenger next to her complained that the sleeping Engman was sprawled all over her.

A Port Authority spokesman said that Engman began yelling at Tyler before the dispute got out of hand.

At some point Tyler turned her back on Engman who then allegedly went all Twilight on Tyler and bit her on the torso, leaving a mark.

Port Authority officers interviewed both women after the plane landed at JFK.

Engman was issued with a summons to appear in Brooklyn Federal Court on an assault charge. The summons was made public on Monday.
