I LIVE IN NEW ORLEANS LA. THEY LET THE PEOPLE IN AND WHEN THEY OPENED THE GATE THE PEOPLE TURNED BACK NOT WANTING TO GO IN THE FRIST PLACE THEY WERE ONLY THERE TO PUT ON A SHOW OF RACES
NEW ORLEANS HAS THE BIGEST CRIME RATE BECAUSE OF BLACKS AND THAT IS TRUTH BEFORE THE STORM YOU COULD NOT WALK IN TO THE LOWER 9TH WARD WITH OUT FEAR OF BEING ROBED OR SHOT & KILLED BY BLACKS GANGS AND NOW THEY ARE ASKING PEOPLE FROM OF STATE TO BRING THAT PLACE BACK?
I DO NOT THINK SO THEY NEED TO STOP PLAYING THE RACE CARD & PLACEING BLAME ON WHITE PEOPLE FOR WHAT THEY DO NOT HAVE IN LIFE AND GO TO WORK AND MAKE NEW ORLENS A BETTER PLACE TO LIVE I AM SURE THAT MUST IN THIS VIEDO DO NOT HAVE JOBS

Shocase... There are fire codes, building codes, social codes etc. that are supposed to help us keep order and to live in a civilized society. From what I saw, how would anyone's view be heard over chaos. Think of it this way, if someone is yelling at you and obviously has no respect for the law, why would you want to listen to what they have to say? I would be scared of them. It is one thing to be passionate about an issue, but that does not mean that you are allowed to disrupt public government proceedings. The situation was out of control and it was apparent that some people were unable to effectively, calmly and patiently express themselves. A public meeting such as this is not being held in one's living room where whatever one would like to say or do is permitted.
What them cops did was uncalled for. Those were tenants of the buildings that they were going to tear down, they should have let them in! I did not know that protesting was going on on inside as well as the outside. What happened was ridiculous!!! I just can't believe this...
