A hilarious video has emerged from the UK of a man slipping over on ice and banging his head against a car bonnet on his way down.

The footage, captured by a home CCTV camera in Nottingham this morning, shows the unfortunate victim Daniel Healey losing his footing on the patch of ice before face-planting the car.

Howls of laughter can be hear in the background as the footage is played back to him by his neighbour.

A "dry and frosty morning" was forecast for the area today.
