A dad and his son argue about a 12th graders math class. Neither of them realize how a Montana elk hunt and a perfect shot, but a recovery that takes 6 days to accomplish and a math class will tie the two of them together. With two completely different goals ahead of them they eventually find they are really very similar in the big picture of life. It takes commitment, respect and determination for the two of them to finally achieve success. In the end it wasn't about success it was about staying the course.
