Terry Teachout's comments about nonrepresentational art are quite interesting, especially with those stunning Olitski paintings in the background. I wonder, however, if we need to let people know that while such paintings don't have a single meaning or story attached to them (as he says) it's perfectly normal for each of us to tell our own stories in the presence of the art. I'm quite glad that I stumbled on this video.
