A gritty story taking place in Stockholm about the passionate love between the self-abusive Sebastian who wants to be a woman, and the easy-going Andreas who is certainly not gay. Ellie is the superwoman growing inside Sebastian who Andreas grows to both love and fear, and together they form a unity; it’s them against the polished Swedish Ikea-society.
It’s a battle for love when Sebastian finally realises that he has to find the strength within himself to let Ellie loose and not let his happiness depend on others, and over the course of a summer both he and Andreas choose paths that will determine their lives forever.
