Kiran Rao held a special screening for this documentary for her B-Town friends. Aditya roy Kapoor, Vikramaditya Motwane, Prasoon Joshi, Sohum Shah, Nishita Jain and Anand Gandhi were among the notable few who attended. The documentary is based on Sampat Pal and the fiery women of her Gulabi Gang who take up the fight against gender violence, caste oppression and widespread corruption in Bundelkhand.
