UK woman stabs man in the eye with designer stiletto heel, avoids prison

MANCHESTER, UNITED KINGDOM — A woman stabbed a man in the eye with a Christian Louboutin stiletto heel in Manchester two years ago has walked free from court.
The incident took place on October 18, 2014 when 22-year-old Justin Lloyd was waiting for a taxi home outside the Mercure Hotel in Piccadilly Gardens after night out in the city center. Lloyd allegedly approached Shadiya Omar's friend by offering her some crisps. The woman rejected the offer. Lloyd then attempted to pour the crisps on her head.
The court heard that Omar rushed to her friend's aid and struck him in the eye with her designer Christian Louboutin heel. Lloyd was struck so hard that he had to pull the shoe out of his eye. Amazingly, he did not lose his eyesight.
The judge sentenced Omar to 18 months imprisonment, suspended for two years. She was also handed six months of unpaid community work and supervision and ordered to pay a £100 victim surcharge fee.
