Thief with giant snake in his pants wanted by Portland police

PORTLAND, OREGON — A thief in in Portland, Oregon was spotted with a 2-foot long snake in his pants, and surveillance video has been released to show exactly how it got there.

A to Z Pets owner, Christin Bjugan, checked the surveillance video after an employee notified her on Friday that a black pastel ball python was missing.

The video shows the suspect walk into the store and look around before making his way over to the reptile area. He then stuffs the 2-foot long snake into his trousers before slipping out the door. Bjugan told Fox News that the thief was lucky it wasn't feeding day – we here at TomoNews kinda wish it was.

The pet shop owner said the python is worth $200. Police are still looking to identify the thief and his blue-haired female accomplice.
