Little Glee Monster - Hatenaku Tsuzuku Story (Misia cover)

To test Reaper's new video editing capabilities, I mixed the studio recording in with the video of the live performance. I did the typical 80s video thing where it starts with the live audio, then the studio audio is cross-faded in, and ends with the live applause. The live take was much slower than the studio version, so I had to stretch the video rather aggressively to sync it with the music.

I was a little sloppy at the beginning, but except for the point where she sings different lyrics on the second chorus and the notes they cut short live, it turned out pretty good. The video is quite smooth for the amount of stretching I did to it. I think this is the real strength of Reaper's very limited video editing powers.
Then I threw it in Vegas and had some fun with filters.
This is a gorgeous performance of my favorite Misia song, and I honestly think I like LGM's version more. The arrangement is simpler and the vocals more raw. That note that Serina hits around 5:22 has just enough growl without going overboard. So good.
