A Swiss national is kidnapped in Timbuktu. Beatrice Stockly was taken from her northern Malian home during the night. No group has yet claimed responsibility. Also, the EU urges Libyans to back a unity government, this as the Islamic State group claims the deadliest attack in the country since the fall of Muammar Gaddafi.
