Saab J29 Tunnan

Sourced the film Gula Divisionen, a Swedish "Top Gun" from 1954. The J29 Tunnan (The Barrel) was built by Saab 1950-1956. In the fifties the Swedish Air Force was the fourth largest in the world and Tunnan was as good as the best US (Sabre) and Soviet (Mig15) fighters. Tunnan held for a time the world speed record at the distance of 500 km.
