Scottish singer songwriter KT Tunstall is set to release a new single through Relentless on November 19th.
A rollicking gem of a pop song inspired by a plastic surgery documentary KT watched, which she describes as being ‘about 50 year old women trying to look like teenagers’, ‘Saving My Face’ is the second single to be lifted from KT’s critically acclaimed album ‘Drastic Fantastic’ (out now on Relentless), which entered the UK charts at No.3 last month.
The single, which will be released as a limited edition 7” vinyl, as well as a CD single will be backed with a brand new B-side on each format. A specially recorded acoustic version of ‘Saving My Face’ will also be available through i-tunes from November 12th.
‘Drastic Fantastic’, KT’s follow up to her 4 million selling debut, “Eye to The Telescope, is full of soaring pop sings and intimate ballads. Produced by Steve Osbourne, it is an album full of powerful lyrics, bold colourful melodies and adventurous musicianship. Drastic Fantastic is already certified gold in the UK, and has also shot straight into the top 10 of the American Billboard chart.
The release of ‘Saving My Face’ will be preceded by a sold out tour in mid October when KT takes her highly acclaimed live band on the road – dates as follows:
