1992 PCRM PSA promoting the Heimlich maneuver for drowning rescue

In 1992, the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine PCRM), a DC-based animal rights nonprofit, produced this PSA promoting my father's baseless, dangerous claims that the Heimlich maneuver is effective for resuscitating drowning victims. My father is a founding board member of the group which presents the "Henry J. Heimlich Award for Innovative Medicine" in his name.
