Albatross Tried To Swallow A Shark And It Didn't End Well

The Te Papa Museum in New Zealand came across the remains of an albatross that tried—and failed—to swallow an entire seal shark.

An albatross in New Zealand bit off a lot more than it could chew—quite literally. The bird apparently choked to death while trying to swallow an entire shark.
The carcass of the northern royal albatross was gathered up by a member of the Te Papa museum off the southern coast of Wellington on November 15th.
A recent blog post from the museum notes, "When we cut the dead bird open we found that the shark was intact and reached the entire length of the bird’s body cavity! The shark was completely undigested – no doubt it had been protected by its tough, sandpaper-like skin
