The European Union invests billions in research and science. Where exactly is that money going? And to what use? Carlos Moedas is the EU Commissioner for Research, Science and Innovation. He recently launched ‘Science4refugees’ a project which links up refugee scientists arriving with European scientific institutions. From the migrant crisis to innovations that claim to fight climate change, he speaks to France 24 about some of the scientific solutions funded by the European Union.
