On June 8, in Japan, 2011, pianist Nobuyuki Tsujii was a guest on the Japan TV show "the art", hosted by Takeshi Kitano (also known as Beat Kitanoビートたけし).
The show features many piano performances by Nobu, including his well-known compositions "A Morning in Cortona", "House of Wind" and "Rondo on the Seine", as well as amazing performances of Nobu's impromptu playing -- at the challenge of the host -- of jazz (time mark 34:50), Hawaiian music (37:00), an imitation of the traditional Japanese instrument koto (38:10), and the enka song 津軽海峡冬景色 (winter scene of the Tsugaru Strait)(39:40)
